Kris is absolutely right, Judy, you are a natural!  You did a really great job on this block - it looks pretty hard!  But you have inspired me, I want to do this one and M-13 soon.

Judy - this is a pretty block - you are doing so great on your needle turn.  I so wish  my hands would allow me to do this anymore as I began my love of applique' with needle turn.  You are doing awesome.. I love it...

Here are my M6 Simplicity & M7 Junko's Rose Garden.

 

I appliquéd the center block (circle & 4 squares)

 

All of this was appliquéd to the background fabric.
