Here's my G-3. I reverse appliquéd the whole thing:

Patricia4, you did an outstanding job on this block. Love the fabrics too. You really inspire me to try this but I think I'll wait until I've done a few more needle turn blocks. My skills are still pretty much not there yet. But I'm working on it and enjoying the journey.

Judy it is really good to read that you're enjoying the appliqué journey and aren't giving up. I'm at work trying to squeeze in some needleturn on my break before my next patient. I work alone now so I don't get a lot of down time anymore.

Thank you so much Judy and Kris.  This one intimidated me a little but once I got starred, was not "that" hard. Hope you are able to squeeze in some time Kris. That is one of the many things I like so much about appliqué, is that I can work on it when I have a 10-minute break, and still make some progress. Whereas if I only have 10 minutes, I can't sit down at the machine.

Okay, I have started back up with my Dear Jane blocks and started with the rows - I have A-5 done from years ago but here is my A-3 Hunter's Moon.

I didn't piece this the way they recommended - I appliqued the white ovals down to make the block.

Oh really pretty Thea!  I really like this background fabric a lot too.  I did mine the same way, just appliqued the melons on.  Not sure what they recommended, but that seemed to work!
