Lesson 3 - Foundation piecing...
A simple looking block but not sure how simple it will be to make!
Merry Christmas to all!
Thea, are these lessons on the cd? If not where do I find them? Barbara
EAT!! SLEEP !! QUILT!!
That's right Barbara. They're on the CD
There are also directions on how to put each block together at the Dear Jane site. I find these very helpful also.
thanks Kris and Kathie, I did find this site and found and printed lesson 1 .I think lessons 2 and 3 are also there I just have got them yet. I think this site is gonna work for me along with all of you already working on this. I still gonna try and get the cd from joann's when there is a 50% off coupon..Barbara
I'm playing catch up this week. Here's my red & white block, it was rotary cut and machine pieced:

Kris and Kathie - wonderful blocks - I love them. love the colors - I am fixing to get busy this month and start getting some of these blocks done... maybe I'll get close to catching up...teehee... so many projects going but am feeling so much better now I am back on my Enbrel - amazing how one drug can do this for me - it hasn't completely taken away the pain but it has lessened it quite a bit... I know last year this time I wasn't feeling much like doing anything and it showed - I didn't make that many quilts last year till the end of the year... Since December I have finished up 3 quilts and am working on Chrissy Down Under - after it I have 2 more McKenna Ryan quilts - I actually have 3 to do but one I am going to put off for a while yet - going to do these 2 and some other projects I am about...
Stockings, pillowcases... well I am energized - so if my back and neck will behave - I will have a very productive 2011... and I'll try and push a little here - maybe some of our other members will start posting pictures of there blocks too...
And Kris and Kathie - if you would be so so kind - let us in on any tricks to doing the blocks that you have done - or any problems - I love your pictures but would like for those following you to have any tips or tricks that you might be doing for each block...
Thank you all for participating and Happy 2011...
I used rotary cutting instructions from the DJ software for the red & white block. It wasn't difficult.
