Everyone's blocks are great - here is mine: I folded the background fabric in half - half again and then folded on the diagonal to have folds wehre I needed to put the applique pieces - I then got them ready as I do glue basting so it looks like needle turn but doesn't hurt my hands - I glued each piece in place and then sewed them down...

this is the start of my pink round...

Thea, this is beautiful.  you used your basting spray to hold your triangles in place. I'm goona have to try that., they are so perfect..Really nice job.BArbara

Barbara  -and kris - again thank you and Barb I use Roxanne's glue I just dabbed on the back of the pieces and pushed them down - actually with this one I got them all ready glued them in place and shut them in a book so they stayed that way while the glue dried... it smashed them down right where I wanted them... and after I finished another block I pulled them out and it was easy to needle stitch around the pieces they stayed right where I wanted them too - the thread did catch every once in a while on one of those other pieces but heck what else is new - as long as I didn't have to do curves...teehee

Barbara,

your fabric is pretty and youve done a good job on the block. However, the low contrast makes the pattern hard to see.
