Thea thank you, I was pleased with the outcome, but I can also see I still need to work on some issues. Having some trouble keeping the tiny squares -square, I think when I press it I'm stretching my fabric ,so I feel like I need to work on that some . I know this is a learning process for me .and it will get easier with time. Kris sent me a tutortiol, on hand stitching that i tried to apply some of the tips to this . I will  continue to do these by hand cause I'm enjoying  it..Barbara

Gini , thats what I've been doing . but when I'm finished that when I think i'm messing up and my fabric looks distorted..maybe I'm pressing it worng .I'm gonna have to try and figure it out...Barbara

Barbara, I found that when I work with tiny pieces and to me these blocks are tiny that I press each section - just like I do for the big ones - I can say for me that sometimes finger pressing works but most of the time I have to use either a wooden iron or get up and use my regular iron... when I finger press sometimes it seems that I stress the fabrics in directions I didn't mean to - and I think this come because I am pushing the fabrics rather then pressing down on them like I do with my big iron...

I have found that they do seem to snap back into shape though... so it is 6 of one and half dozen of the other as to how I do it... do what works for you is the best advice I think though...

Thanks Thea, I do understand what your saying ,I have found the sme with the fabric stretching. but I also have found it depends on the fabric ..I have started finger pressing alittle easier now.Barbara

Okay, here is my Mama's Maze.

Fairly simple block to sew but as I pressed it it went a little wonky - so am going to have to block it out to get it to look right again...lol

Thea, I love your fabric,  this was a fairly hard block ,due to all the tiny pieces, I have noticed  my blocks getting wonky when I press them also.it drives me nuts ,but I'm not sure what to do to keep that from happening   Good job...Barbara
