My daughter did the cross stitch piece on this one. It is from "The Nutcracker". I used all the traditional things one would find in Victorian work, velvets, satins, woven, lots of buttons , jingle bells, laces ect. It was a lot of fun to make and very satisfying to give to the granddaughter of a friend....You can see her merry brown eyes sparkling at the top. The stocking is almost as large as she and will hold many Christmas memories in years to come.

This is really exquisite, Threadlove.  How wonderful to share a love of needlework with your daughter and showcase her work like this.  Just beautiful!

How special. Your daughter did a beautiful job on the cross stitch and you as well on the stocking. Thanks for sharing, and welcome.
