Diane,

I posted comments in media. You girls are setting the bar pretty high for us! Lovely, lovely works.

Wow that was fast. I haven't even had a chance to track it yet.  lol

Do you think I put too much on Diane's block? After seeing what Diane did on Linny's, I'm now thinking less is more. It just seemed like it needed more since it was Under the Sea. I'm hoping that all the blocks will speak to me and I'll know when is just the right amount of embellishment.

Lillie--thanks for the nice comment about Linny's block,  To me it's always an issue about too much or not enough.  I have found that the space gets so small at the end of the RR that it's sometimes hard to find a place to work on it.  I think you did fine.  It's not set in stone and everyone is different.  After a while you will get a sense of how much is too much or whatever.

Lillie,

I was just in posting my work on Stephanie block.   I think your work is awesome.   It's has such fine detail and adds a lot to the concept to help it become more alive.

Thank you Robin. I guess I needed a little feedback from everyone since this is my first time. When I look at all the work done by others, I become concerned about what I've done. I have all these great ideas in my head, but none of them worked with Under the Sea.

It was fine Lillie.  At least you show concern.  We are all trying to work together but remember this is for fun.  No one is to be judging. Just be as positive as you can.

What size silk ribbon do most people use? I've seen 2mm = 1/16inch, 4mm = 1/8inch, and 7mm = 1/4inch.  What size is best size for the flowers? Is $0.95/yd a good price for YLI silk ribbon? Is there a better silk ribbon out there?

Thanks!  8-)
