Stephanie, you Thanksgiving sounds like it was perfect. That's cute that Paul says he'll give up a day for football...did he mean give up a day with his girl for a day of football. Just make it on a football day, then they can both come over and he can watch football with Mike while you and Melissa quilt. Sound good, right?
Don't work too hard today. It was chilly this morning taking the doggies out. We Florida girls talk about our 50 degrees as cold while others have freezing and snow, lol. Our blood thinned out while it was 95 degrees for 6 months, though, so to us it's like 40, right? Hey, it's the paint it's too cold for, right? It has to be warm enough for the paint. Have you done the frond pillars yet?

Stephanie: Have to go to work today. We're not on a time frame which is good, cause (don't laugh Northern girls) it's cold outside to be working out early.

Barb and I just ate and did crafts all day until dark. It was great. The food was delish. The pie was awesome. I'm having some of that for breakfast. We had so much left over we both have pleanty of goodies to eat for the next few days. It was a really good deal. Barb left her leftovers so we could eat and do crafts again today.
She has her shot that boosts her immune system today, so it won't be as long a day for her. She always feels yucky for a few days after those. This week was the last round of her chemo for her. Next week she goes for all the tests. We are praying they won't find any more cancer.
I am avoiding going out anywhere to shop. Although everyone saying they are going to JoAnne's has got me longing to go. I'll get over it. I need to finish Stephanie's block, so that's my plan and I'm sticking to it. I also need to work on my Christmas cards.
I hope you all have a really nice day today.
Lillie, I know how that it when you see something and put it into your "I'm going to try that some day" bin. I hope I live long enough to make everything in my bin...or at least try the technique.
Have a nice black Friday with your family.
Hi Everyone! I had a very nice Thanksgiving with my friends. So much food!!! And I got to bring home leftovers! No I am relaxing and wondering when my ribbons will come, thinking about Robin's block. I'll work on my job quilt until then. It's 58 degrees here--like spring for me. I still want to wear my flip flops when I go out. LOL This is great weather.

Gorgeous Robin. Did you make it for a special occasion?
Linny-sounds like you had a wonderful time with Barb, eating and crafting.
Robin-you did a wonderful job on your brothers quilts.

That quilt is just simply beautiful, Robin. I have never tried anything that difficult. He should really be proud of it. Jo
It's his Christmas present. He retired from 30years in the Navy a couple of years ago.
Wonderful gift Robin!!!
Has Stephanie been on? Just wondering if she confirmed delivery of Linny's block? My tracking says it was delivered to her on Tues. Perhpas I missed her post. Please let me know.
Lillie:Just wondering if she confirmed delivery of Linny's block?
I thought I did Lillie. I have it.
Linny,
Your day with Barb sounds like a great time. I have loved having all of the leftovers, and have eaten enough chocolate truffles to keep my seritonin levels up for the next few months. LOL
Linny t:This week was the last round of her chemo for her. Next week she goes for all the tests. We are praying they won't find any more cancer.
I'll keep her in my prayers. It has to be such a relief to be having that last round.

No black shopping Friday for me either. I about had an anxiety attack food shopping and the store wasn't busy. I could just see me in those crowds. LOL
