YAY Robin. School is almost over for you. And then a wonderful summer break.

We spent most of the weekend figuring out where we want to go while in Florence and on what days we wanted to go there. We are only in Florence for 2-1/2 days and some of the attractions are closed on Sundays and others are closed on Mondays. Then we sent an email to the hotel we are staying at and asked them to get tickets, or reservations, for us.

I was looking at our train tickets from Pisa to Florence and noticed that there are no times/trains/seats listed on the tickets. I have no idea when we are scheduled to arrive in Florence. I'll have to call the ticket issuer and find out why they are blank. Maybe it means they are good on any train? Gosh, I hope it doesn't mean it's a "stand-by" ticket.

This week we'll have to turn on the sprinklers and make sure they are all working properly. We have just one tiny pile of snow in our front yard. I'll mow on Sat/Sun and that will be it until May 25.

Have a lovely week everyone!

Robin:
Now if they want to get someone like Mark Harmon or Tim McGraw to come explain it to me that would be another matter.
LOL, Maybe this guy is cute, too :)

Robin:
Linny,  I'm so jealous you got to spend time in your yard.  My front flower bed still looks terrible.  I've got to get to it.  But I'm delighted you had such a beautiful and productive day.
My yard has a long way to go still.  You know, I forget how much I like doing yard work.  I love planting and watering...mowing, not so much.  But I love the way it feels to go outside after it's all done, don't you?

Lillie, this blows my mind.  You go from snow to mowing in a week.  Hope your tickets are what you want them to be and it's just an ommission about the seats, etc.  How exciting to plan a trip like that!  When do you leave?

Hooray is right. The count down for you till summer break!

ROFLOL.

Robin:
Sounds like this one might be the keeper

She might just be. Different kind of light in Paul's eyes with her. She's a sweetheart for sure. And her Dad seemed very nice as well. Yep, I could see us all being one big happy family.

How exciting for you both Lillie. I could see The Leaning Tower in a silkie for CQ. :0)

Does this mean it's officially spring? The birdies will miss you while you're gone....but I'm sure they'll be happy for the warmer weather.

Good Evening Everyone,

No  I didn't sleep through the day, it seems the internet did not want to get up this morning so it slept through most of the day.

We got the report back on Laurie's Nodes,  everything is good the report labeled them as benign.   We go to the Ear, Nose and Throat dr next week, hopefully will have some insight from her as to the cause of the sore throat, and other issues.

Lillie,

Can you use your lawn mower as a snow blower?   A multipurpose machine.

Your trip sounds like it's going to be a blast.  I hope that you take some great pictures to share.

Got to go get supper done.

Robin

Well, there's the good news you were expecting.  Hope the ENT has some simple explanation for everything else.  I didn't realize she had a sore throat all the time.  When I had mine I had a constant, uncontrollable cough.  Really annoying.  My throat was sore from coughing.  It was because the tumor was big enough to press on my throat and make it tickle.  Hope her symptoms just disappear overnight.  Will keep her in my prayers.

Great news Robin. I hope too that the ENT specialist can help.

Our internet was down too until noon yesterday. Spent about an hour doing the normal things of unplugging modem, etc and gave up thinking it had to be company issues.

Wonderful news Robin. I'm so glad that everything turned out well and now the two of you can truly put all this behind you.

Maybe she has acid reflux. I did not realize all the problems caused by acid reflux. And you don't have to actually taste or feel it. Sinus problems, ear problems, throat problems, coughing. I was totally amazed. And my doc thinks I have it. YUCK!  When we get back from our trip I'll see her and find out what I can do about it.

I didn't realize this, Lillie.  I thought acid reflux was/feels the same as indigestion.

This has been a long day.  And I thought it was going to be so smooth.

It started with me realizing as soon as my feet hit the floor that I hadn't done the grocery shopping I needed to do for a lab and would need to run to the store before school and ended with me backing up and going back to school to fix an email when I was finally at the gate going out at six.   I hope this is a sign that tomorrow is going to be better.

Very tired.

Sorry to hear you had such a grueling day Robin.

Mine's been crazy too. I feel like a yoyo. Back and forth all day. My niece is flying in this evening and my brother just called to say it's been delayed until 11:30pm and they're not sure she knows what flight to take. I guess in route her original one was canceled. OMG. Poor dear will probably be frazzled by the time she gets here. I'm supposed to be back on the job at 7am to have everything I've been working on ready for a photo shoot for this designer. Not enough of me to go around this week.

Maybe there's something in the air or something.  My day was grueling, too.  In fact my whole week so far has been this way.  They say things come in 3's, so maybe tomorrow will be better.  Sometimes things happen so much and fast you feel like you should take the duck and cover position.

I hope everyone is settling in for a calm evening.

Stephanie, I hope all the airline schedules get worked out.  Poor dear is probably frightened.  I also hope your project comes together in time for photos.  Could it get any more stressful?

Robin, I hope your tomorrow is easy and uncomplicated.  What a crazy day for you.

Diane, have you finished your work quilt yet?  How are the dragons?

Darlene, what's new in your neck of the woods?  I bet you're busy getting ready for your sale.

Jo, haven't heard from you in awhile.  What's new?

I know she has to be. I don't know if I mentioned she has Asperbergers syndrome. I don't know how things like this flight mix up settle in her mind. I'm just praying she made it on the right flight.  Thanks for the well wishes on the project too. For more stressful. LOL, you won't believe it but one of our customers called Mike and he commited us to Dog sit her Mountain Dog here for the weekend. 5 dogs, a cat, and a guest. ROFLOL.   Good thing Becca likes animals.
