Oh, I'm so glad it got there earlier than they said for a change. From my experience at the post office on Saturday I had room for doubt, lol. Thanks for the compliment and for letting me know it got there.
This RR is so much fun and I'm so glad you got us to do it.

Linny t: Lillie, your journal is a work of art in itself. Thanks for the gift, too. You are an amazingly talented and artistic person!

Robin,
My tracking shows Diane's block delivered today. Did you get it? I love tracking.....
Stephanie,
Sorry for taking so long to answer. I always forget to check the other conversations. I did get Diane's block. I love what you and Lillie did on it. I hope I can add to it.

Robin:I did get Diane's block.
Oh good! Thank you. I can't wait to see what your lovely creative mind comes up with!
Hi Everyone,
I was wondering if I could get a slight extension on the Jan 1st deadline. I'm afraid with the quilting of two quilts I've put myself in a slight bind. I feel certain I will be able to make it by the end of the first week of Jan. Is that ok?
Fine by me, Robin. I think we all could use a little more time with Christmas and all.
I'm OK with extending the deadline. Let us know the new date. Happy Saturday everyone.
Extending the deadline would be fine with me. Anyway, mailing around Christmas can be iffy.
Diane: Anyway, mailing around Christmas can be iffy.
Good point Diane.
I'm ok with extending the deadline too.
Diane,
I wanted to write and ask I guess a stupid question.
On your block is it all under the sea or is a part of it the sky above the water. I know you said you were fine with whatever we do but I wanted to make sure I was seeing the block the way you see it.
Hi Robin----not a stupid question. I made the block to be totally under water.
I went to church today. I woke up at 9am---sacrament meeting was at 12:30 and the next 2 hours I took care of kids in the nursery. They were so hyper today and I am nearly bone tired. My friend who works with the 3 year olds said the same thing. I still love taking care of the kids and always feel like I've accomplished something great! lol
I hope everyone is having a great Sunday!
Good for you, Diane. You have accomplished something great. Anytime we touch a child's life we become part of their story of their life. I bet they were hyper because of Christmas getting near. Seems like the kids out at the stores were hyper, too.
I was wondering about your block, too. I'm glad Robin asked. I gathered a bunch of under the sea things and thought, what if it's sky....that would mean something totally different...except maybe flying fish? LOL.

Linny, what a great idea. You could have a line in the water with a hook on it and a wiggly worm too.
Hey, I did have this one idea of just that very thing, except the worm's got this scared little face and is holding a sign saying "Eat More Plankton", lol.
