I received Linny's block today. WOW! I just keep staring at it and see something new every place I look. I love the crystals you put on. Your ribbon work is so beautiful and delicate. I love all the mounds of buttons. The photos don't do it justice. I hope I can come close to what you have already done. You have set the bar really high.

Can anyone tell me what this stuff is? I have it marked with YELLOW arrows. There are 2 different items. One (brown/tan) looks like shoe laces to me. The other (pink) I have no clue what it might be.

I have bought a couple trim packs from LQS and the quilt show that have hand dyes of several different trims, this being one. I have no idea what it is. Maybe Linny will know.
