I think they look good together.  She is slightly larger than he is.  They seem to have formed a nice relationship.  I had another pair before who were like this.  She never dropped eggs but he always had to be next to her.  I have pics with his arm around her while they were resting.  It seemed that he needed her so much but she was ok alone.  When he died, she seemed OK with it.

Diane,

The picture is too cute. Dragon honeymoon. LOL. It does sound like quite a bit of work involved to hatch the eggs. Especially the humidity part of a pan at 85 degrees. Do they sell pans that can keep that temperature? I'm excited for you.

You do have a lot going on. Many days I'd rather be busy, but every now and then it's just nice to tuck in and feel carefree.

It's really nice that your place has many activities for people that want to socialize.

Diane,

It does seem a bit overwhelming right now. But once you get into it, it probably won't be that bad. It's better to be busy than have nothing to do. Sometimes when I am overwhelmed, I find myself just walking around the house not knowing what to do first. I walk up and down the stairs.  It's rather comical looking in from the outside.

This is the kind of relationship I am looking for, lol.  No, really, it is just sweet and I didn't know they had close relationships like this.  Love is universal, I guess.

I have been too busy for so long I think I would bask in being bored, but I can't imagine letting myself get to that place.  Like you, I am always setting up projects for myself.

I stopped doing Facebook because it seemed to steel time away from me for little return.  Plus I'm a private kind of person and don't like or need everyone I've friended to know what I'm up to - especially the people I work with.  I know there are ways to block all that, but I figure it takes too long to set it up so my answer is to just stay off there.  I pop in to see pics of family from time to time and that's it.  Too busy is what I am.  I would imagine it's better than not busy enough.  I'd like to try it, though.

I can relate to this. I don't have stairs, thank goodness, but I will spin my wheels trying to think of what to get into first. LOL It must be comical to see.

Me too. I like to see the kids pic's. None of my bro's and sister are on there. Some of Mike's family are. His sister's don't work so playing the games helps pass the time for them. They can send each other game things.  I don't know, I just think I'd rather spend  time making something. I've never linked into any of the sites because I don't want a bunch of junk mail. I get too much already. My son's email has been compromised twice there and sent out emails with links to viagra, etc. I can't take that risk with my customers email addresses.

It's been a pretty productive day off.

I spent 3 hours on Robin's block, got my panels grained, did some chores, bookeeping, and made dinner.  Unfortunately I have to get back to more bookeeping. Bringing home projects has set me back a little. Hope everyone has a restful evening.

Thank you ladies for your encouragement.   Today I found out that someone claiming to be Verizon to almost $400 out of my account.  I don't know how it happened but the bank will put the money back and investigate.

Today I went out with my friend Karen and we did some errands and ate out the Parkway Deli.  It was so delicious.  Rubin sandwich with steak fries.  Yumm.  I don't get out to eat enough!

Good Morning Friends,

I hope that you have a great day.   It is Boy Scouts Day,  however not being a Boy Scout I'm going to celebrate the second choice Go Fly a Kite Day.

I was one tried camper last night when I finally stopped.  Then I got a little sick on my stomach so when I went to bed I died.  I slept so hard.   But it good to wait up feeling refreshed and rested.    I hope you all slept well yourself.

Diane,  Love the pictures you posted of your love (birds?)  dragons.  They looked very content with each other.   Glad to hear the bank is going to correct this problem.  My daughter has had a similar thing happen to her twice.  It can be very scary.

Stephanie,  Thanks for the well wishes but I was not our schools nominee for teacher of the year.   I was simply a volunteer making sure no one had tea spill on them and had dessert on time.   Our nominee was a reading teacher, who is a great guy and seemed very honored to be nominated.   However, our county's selection which was annouced last night is an older teacher who taught both of my girls in Elementary School.   She is truly deserving as she has a big heart for kids.   There were actually two who fell into this category last night and either one of them would have been a great choice.

Linny,   I hope your day at work goes well and is without any junk.  If not you might want to mention to them it's Go Fly a Kite Day.

Lillie,  Don't you have a party tomorrow night?  How's the preparation for that going?

Darlene,  Thinking on you.  Well wishes being sent your way.

Jo,  Hope your feeling spunky today.

Have a great one.  I'm off to play with the children.   Club day on top of the normal teaching routine.

Robin

Diane:
They are having a great "honeymoon"

I am so glad you posted a picture of them. I think they are facinating; I never knew anyone that had them as pets. I checked out the bearded dragon site and it was very interesting to read about them and see the pictures. I hope everything goes well with the egg laying and the hatching. It is nice they got "friendly".

I have been busy writing letters to corporate offices of stores to try and get them to put Paint Jack in their stores. The "big" stores won't let the stores put them in unless they approve them and they have to buy and supply them.  I hope someone takes a liking to them. George had an eye exam yesterday and we went to a couple of stores while we were down there.  I sent 12 samples up to Canton, Oh. and surrounding cities last week. I used to live up there and I had a phone book to get names and addresses. There are a lot of independent hardwares up there, so I am hoping to get a big order from them. Wish me luck!!

I got my cat quilt back from my long arm quilter on Wed. I was so surprised at what she charged me....... $46.00 and she supplied the backing!! The quilt was 110" wide and 115" long. Can you believe that?  It wouldn't have surprised me if she had charged me $100.00.  She just lives two houses away from me.  I have the binding to do. She even does binding on some of the quilts she does, but I like to do my own binding because I like to do the hand sewing on it. She of course would do it all on the machine. She doesn't do any fancy quilting, she has one pattern she uses and that is it. It is fine with me tho'; I am not entering them in shows. I will post a picture when I get the binding done.....it will be a while. lol

I don't post much of anything on FB, except pictures of quilts and other projects. I don't need everyone seeing family pictures. You never know who's lurking out there.

I have been really sick since Tues afternoon. Deep cough in my chest and my throat is absolutely raw. And I've been so dang tired. Not enough energy to do anything. We are going to have to cancel our party for Sat. night. I don't want to infect anyone. Since I've been so sick the tile grouting has not happened.  DH has been eating Cold Ease like candy cuz he doesn't want to get whatever I have. And, I don't want him to have it either.

We're up to 70% chance of snow tomorrow and tomorrow night. I hope we get 2 feet worth. We desperately need the moisture. The mountains have been hit really hard with snow, and that's a good thing. But not us in the foothills.

Have a great kite flying day everyone.

Lillie, I am so sorry to hear you feel this bad.  If you still feel this bad by Monday, maybe you should see a Dr.

So, you're hoping for snow, eh?  That's unusual to hear.  With all the talk about blizzard warnings my memories pulled me back to when I lived in Illinois as a child, remembering the one blizzard we had there that buried cars in the driveway.  I loved it.  We dug tunnels in the snow and got a real thrill out of pretending we were Eskimos.  My parents didn't like it much because they couldn't go to work.  I remember the beauty of looking outside first thing in the morning and seeing that mighty blanket of fresh snow.

My DD in NY is expecting 2' of snow.  She went out yesterday and stocked up on food.  She was looking forward to it, too.

I wonder how this affects Darlene.  I hope they release Tim before it starts.

I sure do hope you start feeling better.  Are you taking anything for it?

Jo, you and George are really going to town (literally) on the Paint Jack product.  I wish you every success!

I'm looking forward to see the cat quilt.  That's an incredible price for long arm work, especially considering she supplied the backing.  She must really like you.
