The first time I ordered, I got a collection from her clearance section.  There are combinations for specific kits.  I was totally happy.  Also, she'll send a sample of her ribbon.  That was a nice touch.  Used to be you could get a credit for participating in her blog and get discounts for various things.  Not your typical site.

I just found where I told about my order from HDF and bumped it for anyone who wants a look at what I got and what I thought about it at the time.

Pg 13.  Gorgeous! I just went back a page after Diane posted that she has ordered more from Ribbonsmyth.

Did you know she is selling the empty bobbins now too?  I think 10 for $2 but I don't know if it's an assortment. I ordered one. I'll keep you posted.

Did you ever get a chance to use the silk floss?

She's had a price increase, but she irons, winds, and labels the ribbon on bobbins now.

I did and I like it very much.  I used some of it in the Once block.  I thought the ribbon spools she sold were big like the ones you get with regular ribbon.  I'll be interested to find out what they really are.

Oh gosh, I'm sorry girls. Nothing like leaving the link out. Here's the ribbon page. Be sure to scroll down and there's a second page too. Check out the names like Linny said. Too cute and she has them color coordinated that way. http://www.hand-dyedfibers.com/oscnuked/modules.php?name=catalog&file=index&cPath=34&osCsid=26f0ceed47ce3cbee68a4d115c1c2ec5

I bought from the colors that began with Be___ and Steppes_____

Her prices are really great. I might have to purchase some from her too. I'm finding that I need way more colors. Who would have thunk it!!!!??!

LOL. I know! More colors, and now thanks to your link this morning my head went awry. I have been envisioning doing little silk rose, leaf and crystal motifs on organza and gluing them onto hair combs or barrettes with little danglies of ribbon with crystals.

I'll let you know. The pic showed different sizes, but I don't think there was a drop down for choices.

I'm going to go back through media for fun and see if I can recognize the colors. I like to go back and look, so much inspiration.

Lillie,

Wahoo for you too. I am dying to see what the chenille floss looks like in a pic large enough for me to see. Will you post one when you get your order?

Hope all goes well with the exams.

Today I'm meeting with one of my quilt groups (Border Girls) for our annual Christmas luncheon and gift exchange. There will be 10 of us this time. We keep the price of the gifts to $10 and it doesn't have to be quilting/sewing related items. And it doesn't have to be purchased. If they have FQs or other items in their stash, that works as well.

Merry Berry Thursday to everyone!
