Hi Rachel. Welcome to the group. You denim crazy is beautiful. I love that you dedicated a block to your pets and the Loralie nurse is so cute. My screen is a little fuzzy but it looks like some beautiful hand painted flowers on some of your blocks. Did you do those? Thanks for sharing and can't wait to see it all finished.
Hi Steph, it's difficult to see, but there is blocks for my pets, my son, my marriage and my career.. <nursing> the floral ones are all embroidered, I have an embroidery machine and one of the purposes of this quilt was to use some I the designs that I haven't used yet, hence the florals, Many of the lace motifs were also made on my machine... I still have to edge and bind it, then decide how I'm going to quilt it, I'm leaning toward tieing it, but I haven't really decided yet... thanks for the welcome... Rachael
I love your block. I really like your lace embellishments and your bearded Irises are beautiful.
Rachel, this is just great! I love it that you recycled your family's jeans. How pretty!
Your denim quilt is beautiful. I love the way you have it arranged.
Rachel, your project is very well done. Love your use of embroidery designs you wanted to try and the lace you created is beautiful.
This is a great use of old jeans and the idea for piecing old flannel shirts will be a great back. You can even use sleeves and piece together for some of the blocks.
I agree that something like this may be best tied rather than quilted. The bulk alone would be daunting to try to quilt and it looks like it will be a good size when finished.
Can"t wait to see the next step to this project. Keep up the good work.

Welcome to the group, lashawng23. Do you have any CQ projects you've done to share with us?
Welcome lashawng23 to our crazy fun group!
Oh, I just feel terrible about not responding sooner. I've gotten so used to people joining the group and never hearing from them again that I forgot to check back.Once again, I apologize, and I want to tell you that. I love, love, love the Iris embroidery that you used as a focal point. Your thread colors are perfect! I also love the denim and lace mix. I love texture and a country theme of jeans and pearls. I hope you see this, and great job!!!!
