I've started a new page just for links. If anyone has a favorite link they want to share, post it in this thread and I'll put it on that page.
Thanks
Linny T
I am sorry I missed this when I posted my link, this was a really good idea to have all the links on one page. So much easier to see them all in one place, I did look a little to see where I should put it before I stated a new thread, Ithink I didn't even noticed there was a 2nd page!
Don't appolgise, Kat. There's no need to. I really enjoyed your enthusiasm about it. I love her site. So much tallent!
I'm home sick today, so of course I'm looking at CQ sites in between napping. I found this one that has a collection of links to a *ton* of useful information!

So far I've found links to several downloadable stitch guides, sites for making beaded spiders, a set of .pdf files for making your own stitching templates (will be a nice addition to the ones I already have) and much much more!
Thanks Claudette I think I will be spending a bit of time here and will need to save it so I can come back.
Thanks, Claudette.
By the way, Claudette, hope you feel better.
OK I have looked and looked and I bet I rolled right over it, but I remember a link to where you Linny and Claudette have bought ribbon at what you say is a reasonable price. I thought I saved the site in my favorites but didn't.
Now I can't find it and was going to buy some because all the ribbon I have now it junk that I was playing with to get the stitches down when I made my daughters wedding bag. I put silk flowers all over it and then covered it with very sheer fabric so the flowers didn't take away from her dress (I wanted them to be barely there). What I bought for her bag was only a little bit and used it all on that.
I did find this site and the ribbon is in great colors, but I have never bought from here and not sure about the prices.

Could you please point me in the right direction for the ribbon you have bought?

Thank you Nana
Thanks for the Ribbon Smyth link Kat. They seem really reasonable and the stuff is way too yummy! I've added it to the links page along with the Shibori Dragon link, courtesy of Cathy K.
I was scouting for motifs tonight and came across this site - the plant section alone is worth a look, but there is a wide variety of illustrations here that could be used for embroidery. I don't think I've seen this one posted here yet. http://etc.usf.edu/clipart/index.htm
Claudette, that's my kind of site. I love the free image realm of the internet. Thanks for posting it.
Claudette,
I found so many possibilities for future embroideries here, I had to start a new folder. Thanks for the link.

i ran into this link on pinterest and thought you would like it.
if you haven't signed up for pinterest, it is a wonderful resource. it takes a little while surfing there to get things started, but boy, can you see a lot of fine work there and a lot of variety. i've been using it for a resource now for a couple of months. you can follow my pins and see what i've been saving.
