I think quilting and the cold winters of Canada go hand in hand. Is there anything better to do but have a hot cup of cocoa and a warm quilt in your lap ? As a Canada quilt we I believe or inspired by our climate and our surroundings. Our landscape quilt are often of winter wonderlands or Prairie fields and the oh so beautiful autumn maple leaf. Being a Canadian quilter to me means warmth and friendship. What does it mean to you ?
I love Canada...I came here from England 34 years ago and as much as I love to visit England..I love to live in Canada..quilting in the winter months is warming to the soul
