Donna, I love the brightness of your colors and the use of brown instead of blue.  I like the brown so much better and wish I had done the same.  Will make a beautiful Autumn quilt!  Need to get to putting my quilt together.  All but last step are ready and waiting for assembly.  Last step is cut and also waiting!!!  Need to finish another quilt top (MQ9) before I finish this one.  This will be my first Bonnie quilt that has gotten past step 2!!!!!

Thanks Marsha...only problem is that this will be my third autumn quilt *potentially* added to the UFO pile.  I keep trying to get those other 2 done every year, but - but - but...   And, I really was hoping to finish this quilt and not let it be added to the dreaded UFO pile!

WooHoo I finished my top!  Have to buy some flannel for the backing so it will be a little while before I quilt it.  I tried to post the picture earlier and again and it still won't let me.  The site must not be operating correctly due to the storm.  I will post later.

Here is my top finished! I am so happy with the blue border which doesn't show too well here.

Found some baby panels and plan on getting some baby quilts done!

Wow!  It's beautiful, Helen.  You probably aren't going to want to take it off the bed to quilt it!   :-)

Have fun getting the baby quilts done!

Did you gals see this variation?  This quilter decided to bag the chevrons and just use the stars:

I'd be tempted, but to be honest I had better luck with the chevrons than the tri-rec units.  I still have most of the orange tri-rec units  for the border to do.

I think that's the standard layout for this quilt. I like the chevrons. I find them easier than the triangle units as well Donna.

My progress is so slow on this.

Donna, I am patient I can wait however long it takes lol!!   :-)

I love the colors and the pattern without the chevrons you posted.  I might do this making the blocks a little bigger, mmmmm I will have to think on this.  My DIL has been asking for a DWR quilt and this one just might fill that request done in her colors!
