Hi everyone. Quilting.about.com is running a New Years Day Mystery Quilt. The whole quilt top gets made in one day. Several of us have been thinking about doing this quilt the week. Sorry the thread is literally starting at then 11th hour!! It's still not too late to join us!

Quilting with 3 dogs in Massachusetts
The cutting instructions are available and step 1 was posted so folks who live places were it is already 2013 can start sewing.
Here are my fabrics and the first step.
Here is my fabric and step 1 squares. Hope lots of you will be excited to do this quilt too. It's my first time to work with this "quilt it a day" type mystery quilt. I won't be able to finish this before the end of the month. But I'm really liking these mystery quilts. Work starts again on Wednesday and the kitchen remodel is happening in three weeks. Sewing will be taking a back seat to other responsibilities. Especially packing up the kitchen and giving more "stuff" away to simplify so I can sew more. Happy New Year everyone!

I have dogs to feed and exercise. Then heading over to a friend's house were 4 or 5 of us will be working on this New Year Mystery Quilt. Hopefully I'll be able to keep you posted on our progress! We aren't all expecting to complete this in a day, but we are going to try!

Hi Mimi.. I am almost trough the HST and I am at the same time trying to finish my Day and Night blocks..
