Hi Max,

I really love your stars in the white squares. The trucks on the backing fabric are adorable. So cute and retro. I know a few guys that would love that fabric and the way it matches the colors in your chain is fantastic. Nice job! I know I will loved the borders too. Can't wait to see it all together.

MaxNTopeka:
I fix that by VERY GENTLY pulling a little extra tension on the fabric as I'm sewing it....while keeping the next set of corners lined up.

Thanks Max, I'll give that a try.

Wow, Ginny!  Nana is gonna be SO proud of you!!   I love the batiks you used, but the layout is awesome...just beautiful!   DH is looking at it and said, "why didn't you lay yours out that way?  That's nice!"    I got a feeling your layout may be copied...more than once.

Kris--I hope your migraine is just a faded memory by now.  They are no fun.  You need to be smiling!

Jan--Thank you!  I hope this quilt brings some old gentleman many smiles.

Happy Weekend!

Max

Here's my Scrappy Christmas quilt ... with cats. There is a different cat in each corner. The one with the mistletoe makes me laugh!  He almost looks cross-eyed!  I couldn't really tell it was a Christmas quilt until I added the borders--now it looks very festive!

I had so much fun using up scraps for this quilt.  Almost like getting something for nothing!
I really like this pattern. It's a simple design but that very simplicity makes it stunning!  Thanks, Nana!

Looks great, Erin!  Love your brights--they really pop!

Erin:

Here is "Ole Scrappy" my first scrappy, mystery, nine patch top.... I'm thinking that I will add a 2 inch border and a 4 inch border so that it will fit a queen sized bed.
