Welcome to the group. I am glad that you will be joining us in our new project.
I just joined this group. Where do I go to find the steps for the project. I am a new quilter of just a little over a year, but totally addicted.

Hi, my name is Francie. I have been quilting for a few years but still consider myself an advanced beginner. I like the scrappy look right now. I am trying to use up some scraps (so I can buy new!). I'm looking forward to working on projects with all of you.

Welcome.... all the instructions are in the group threads. One gives the fabric requirements and one thread has cutting instructions. All the instructions will be given the same way as we progress.

Nana: Welcome to the group Kristie.
Thanks Nana!
I'm a stay at home mom with one little boy age 2. Before my little boy came along, I was a classroom teacher for 18 years. We relocated to Iowa from California after he was born. I've been quilting off and on for ten years, but MQ 6 is my first scrappy quilt (this is my second!)
Pat welcome to the group. Hope you join us with our new project.

Welcome to the group. Hope you join us on our new project.
Hi there!
This is right up my alley. I tend to do scrappy quilts a lot, probably because I have bought a lot of fabric from estate sales and have had bunches given to me. It's easier for me to go scrappy than to drive myself crazy trying to intentionally pick colors that work together. Maybe with more quilting experience I'll be more comfortable with that. I've only recently begun putting together bed sized quilt (tops) and have yet to quilt any of them. If I didn't have to work I'd be home becoming one with Julia Janome (named after Julia Child) and practicing my FMQ. But work I must so I sew when I can and when I can't... I think about it! No kids or husband at home needing my time, just 2 large helper kitties. I just love the aspect of sharing each step of a project with everyone else and all the excitement that gets stirred up.
Let's have some fun!!
