Thank's Helen.  :) ♥  I just finished 1 of the block two.  Still need to cut out more backgrounds but wanted to see this together. :) I really gotta say WOW. A scrap quilt does not mean an easy quilt. I had no idea the work that goes into these. (yeah its my first Bonnie Hunter) But I am loving the results.

Oh my Debra, block 1 and 2 next to each other look great!  I love seeing everyone's blocks, I can pick out fabrics that I either have, used in my block, etc.  I will definitely do another of hers.  The boxy (forgot name) I made for a 2nd cousing who turned 5 and I loved it somuch that I thought I would try another of Bonnie's quilts.  Certainly am a big fan now!  Happy sewing!!!  I am making two extra rows on the small quilt size and am up to the chevrons.  I can't wait to finish and quilt it with the same pantograph Bonnie used.  Family and other duties are keeping me from getting this done as fast as I want to :-)

Here is my top:  My Irish Rose.   I added the extra borders so it would be be enough to be a bed quilt.  I'm really happy with how it came together.

I have been struggling with these small pieces. I got new glasses in April which worked great for a while. They have not been so great lately. I saw the optometrist on Tuesday he said that I have cataracts that probably need to come off now. In April I was told I probably had 5 years before they had to come off. He wants me to see my retina specialist to see if there is some other problem. I may or may not be having cataract surgery soon. I may or may not be having some other procedure soon. I won't be finishing this quilt anytime soon. I am going to try to continue to quilt a BOM I am working on because it doesn't seem to be such a strain right now. I really don't know what to do if I can't sew, LOL, I'd hate to hate to resort to house cleaning or something, not that I can see the dust, Getting older ain't for sissies as the saying goes.

I feel for you Pat!  (I have problems seeing well after sundown...even with bright lights, so usually do most my "eye" work during the day time.)  Hope you get some help soon.

Just to let you all know I really am still working on CS, I have a 'show and tell' picture...yah hoo!  I am making progress...just slowly...LOL!

I'm still working on Clue #5, but other than that I have the Clue #1 Neutrals done (I've found these units the hardest for me), and all of the Clue 2, 3 & 4's done.  So, I thought it was time to put a few of what I have on the design wall...taa daa:

You may have noticed that I reversed my chevrons to create a star block...saw this idea on the CS Facebook group.  I liked the idea since many of the tri-rec stars seem to get lost in the circle/secondary pattern.  I may alternate and do some of the chevrons Bonnie's way and some this way - not sure yet.

I really am liking the flexibility of these blocks and what I am seeing on the CS Facebook page that people are doing with their borders.  And the different color combo's...just amazing!!!

Pat, sending prayers your way that the eye problem is resolved soon.  Had cataracts that were ripe and the surgery for new lenses was done about 8 years ago and count my blessings every day.  My vision is 20/20 and I ony need glasses to sew at the machine and use for the computer.  I feel for you and your struggles.  Hang In There, things will get better!

Donna B, your blocks look great and the color combo is wonderful.

I need some help in deciding on borders.  Blue or green:
