dardar:

Question: I have a good 20 that are "okay" except there is not much of a seam allowance at the point of the geese. IT seems if I try to take these apart they will stretch or fray? If I leave them alone the geese might look like they flew into a wall when it gets put together.  I could just keep making geese and pick the best to put in the quilt.

My DH says use them "it adds character".

I agree with you DH. I would leave them as well. No one would notice at the end anyway.

Looking good Judy.

Very nice Judy.  Hope that I can do some sewing tomorrow night after work.  I have the geese cut but not the sky.  Time to sleep and dream.

I'm about half-way finished with the flying geese, although about one fourth are probably too wonky to be used.  I'm making more than what is called for and will cull when we start sewing them together.

Well, my Easy Street is way different than everyone's.  I decided to make a Halloween one (or two).

Belfrybat your colors are lovely.  The purples go so beautifully with the grays and B/W prints.

Here is step 2

Step two nearly done. I still have not figured out how to link it to Bonnie's but will keep trying.

DarDar. Really pretty fabrics and nice job on the geese.

If you want to post a photo on Bonnie's site in the Monday Link ups you must first have the photo posted on your own blog. Here is her tutorial.

I love the brightness!  It will be so different from the rest.  Maybe you will need sunglasses before you get it finished, though.

I have my geese ready to sew, but have been on the road too much this week to do anything else but get the patches cut.  I may need to hunt through my stash again for more of my whites.  I picked mostly medium purples for these.  I nearly have 2 other mystery quilts done and have to finish those tops before I change thread for this one.  I am using grey thread with the blues of MQ 7 and also for Easy Street.  I usually use natural or beige for most of my quilts.  The grey seems to blend in better with the colors for these 2 quilts.  I think I had better change my needle also.  Have done too many quilts with this needle, but it seems to be working fine right now.
