Welcome Pat. Glad to have you with us.
This is my 2nd year of retirement after working 31 years and having 10 years at home raising two boys. That makes me a fossil, or nearly so! LOL i am a fourth generation quilter, and it's so interesting to see all the changes over the years in quilts. My great-gram and gram took apart clothing and made their quilts from that fabric. I have not done that, but use every bit of fabric i buy. So, yep, I've done scrap quilts. Piecing is my favorite part of the process. I'm looking forward to enjoying this!
Thanks Nana,
For those who dont know my name is Frances, im from England i found this site by accident and now im never off it i love finding out what you all are up to and seeing everyones amazing work i probably have the title of the slowest quilter in the world at the moment i have 2 log cabins, 2 applique quilts, the mystery quilt and 2 english paper piecing quilts on the go.
lots of love
Francesxx
Hi , my name is Joy, I live in Melbourne, married with 3 adult children still at home, Work full time as a school business manager. Quilting is my mai craft but I also make cards. I give away a lot of my quilts or sell them for charity. I love scrappy, I think they're bright and cheery. I'm also in a group called 'Friends from Creative Quilting' on facebook and this year we've got a UFO challenge to finish one every 2 months. I've also started MQ6, so think I must be mad to join this too, but what's the point of being serious, might as well quilt while you can
