Guess what?   The spring string quilt that I posted the other day got $75.00 at the silent auction!  Unbelievable!  I am so thrilled.  All together there was over $33,000 earned for the outreach program at the senior center.  I am so grateful because most of  their  other funding has dried up due to the economy.

Whoo- hoo I'm ready to dance in the streets.

I just want to thank everyone for their gracious comments on the quilts that I posted to the show and tell gallery.  You really know how to make a person feel good.

Marge (aka Dimples), I wanted to let you know that the garden panel quilt that I made was approximately twin size.Ginny

Your string quilt is beautiful.  I am so happy for you that it raised a nice donation for your group.   I agree that in these tough economic times donations aren't coming in like they used to.
