Hi Ladies,
I will have to move in the next few weeks ( was offered a position at a sister hospital and will be close to my parents )....so I will not be able to quilt for a few weeks....or month. or two..haha
My kids are OK with it, but not truly happy..it is a good step for me.
I hope to be able to keep up at least with the instructions from this group to complete the quilt, if at all possible could you (Thea) possibly send me an email of your instructions when you post them if I can not get into the site for a bit???
This is a great group, supportive and fun people, will be back soon though!
Thank you so much,
Charlotte
Char, good luck with your move and your new hospital. It'll be good to be near your parents for you and your kids. We'll miss you but we know you'll be back real soon.

Good luck with the move and new job and new pad. All sounds pretty exciting and lots of change. The kids will make new friends and summer time is a good time to move as they are not in school. And being closer to home is always good!
We will miss you. Hopefully you will be in time for Nana's new project in July and jump right back in.
Write soon!

Jodie's Sampler: I'm new and having trouble finding the material list and instructions to print out. Please direct
Hi Monica, welcome to the BOM. In the list of discussions for this group is one called Fabric Requirements and Cutting Instructions or something like that. Look at that and if that's not what you need come cack here and we'll try to help.
Just beginning, just joined....how do I print the directions, supply list, etc, without printing everything else
that appears on the screen. cari

Cari--
You can highlight the part you want to print, then in your print options screen, choose "print selection" and that should give you only the part you highlighted.

We are almost moved completely...moving and starting a new job is not the ideal situation.....
Some day I hope to be able to catch up on this quilt and complete it with you all! I started the move and tried to get the Geese figured out...but am still stuck on geese (my template never added up) so when I am settled, I will go at it again.
Have a great weekend !!

Monica - the material and cutting instructions are here in the Group section...just look down the list of subjects and you should find it.

Char - Glad you are almost done and the directions for the quilt will be here long after it is finished... so don't worry about that - i check once a day for any questions so I'll be around to help in any way I can...
Let me know what the specifics of the problem with the template for the geese is and maybe I can help you fix it.
Hi,
Can anyone tell me where the written directions are for everything after the flying geese. I am soooo lost and really would like to finish this.
Thank you.

Rosemary--
Look at the left side bar of the QCA page about midway down under COMMUNITY FUN and you'll find BOM Workshop: Jodie's Sampler listed. Click on that and you'll find the latest videos from Jodie, etc. Also, in "Discussions" there are instructions for the Hourglass and Friendship Star blocks.
Rosemary, all the instructions (written) are right here in Group... at the top of the first page you will see the words filtering and sorting - click on that - then go down and click newer then 6 months - you are probably set on 2 months... then you will find a whole bunch of topics pop up about each individual step...
I thought they were lost the other day too but all are here!
I'll do a bump on them to make them all show up!
I just found this site and liked the BOM workshop Jodie's Sampler. I discovered that if you make the Flying Geese and Friendship Star blocks 9" the measurements won't work out with the other blocks at 12". You would need to make all the blocks measure 9" in order for the rows to fit correctly. Did I miss that info in the original posts? I had a hard time finding all the posts that made up the entire quilt also.
Thanks,
Miz Pat
