Very pretty Bobbie Joe.
Thank you, Bonita.
Thank you very much! I cannot wait to see others blocks. I read some of the older post and I saw some beautiful blocks!
Here are the 3 blocks - I had some troubles with the 2nd one - had to redo the 4 patch square in a square block - the template that I printed out did not make the right size so I had to refigure the size needed. Got it done and my extra 2 square in a squares I'll use for some other quilt...teehee
And then Barbara and i decided to do the Craftsy BOM for this year and I am going to do mine in all scrappy blues...
so here the first BOM for that is:
It has been a productive day! Still going... making some placemats that I got between 2 and 3 years ago....
Thea. all your blocks are just beautiful. I love how they go from one shade to another.
This is my Snow Churns Block.
Just how do you pp a block and what would a person need?
Those are truly beautiful!
Love the color! Your Bees and Fields make me think more of birds and flowers!
Thank you for sharing!
Bobbie Joe- I just love the fabrics you're using, bright and cheery!! This will make a cute quilt!!
Thea..those Batiks....WOW, they are gorgeous!
EDIT-- Bobbie Joe-I forgot to add about paper piecing... I am just now figuring it out and if I was able to watch videos online I would be moving along faster I am sure. There are several here that can help you more than I can. I am using freezer paper because it keeps the fabric in place while I try to figure out what the he** I am doing..LOL

Bobbie Joe, I am really loving your fabric, great job. As for learning to pp find you some good videos, you tube has alot, If you have QNN you can watch tutorials on there I learned from Mary fons on Quilty, she broke it down the best for me to understand.
Thea, great blocks
Bobbie Joe Klebe:Okay, I have finished the "Bees and Fields Block".
Nice work Bobbie Joe. Looks like sunshine.
I like your "Snow Churn" too.
Thea:Here are the 3 blocks
Pretty blocks Thea.

There is a step by step tutorial on Quilters Cache under "paper piecing" that you might find helpful. The first 2 pieces are the hardest. If you can get those 2 done the you should have no problem. The "Add a 1/4" ruler" is great in marking the 1/4 seams for sewing. You probably have everything else you need. I love paper piecing & actually prefer it over piecing. It takes some practice, but I find it relaxing & the points are always perfect! Stick with it & good luck.
I even paper-piece my flying geese!
