Ibuiltaquilt - love your colors.

I started mine using three fabrics but foolishly cut one up too much thinking I was going to make a quilt out of one block so now not big enough pieces for this month's blocks.  may have to rethink which fabric I use for these blocks.  wanted to put them all into a quilt, using same fabric but guess now it will be a scrappy quilt instead.  I just need to figure out which other print to use and stay with the two solids.  Hmm, time to go hunting...

Melody, Those were great! Even though I did sew the hourglasses wrong the first time. LOL That is what happens when I am having a phone conversation while sewing.  One or the other gets brushed aside. Here are the 2. Hopefully I will get some more of something done today.

Ibuiltaquilt:

I need to veer away from fussy cuttin' for a few blocks after this!

Love the owls and the colors you used.

Carol:

I'm super slow at making my blocks too! It always takes ages to choose my fabrics and I usually do a bit of unpicking with each block. I try not to worry about the time it takes and just enjoy the process!

I have finished my April Blocks. I made a slightly different version of the Friendship Star with 4 stars in my block. I got this idea from Moda's Friendship Quilt Along and a block designed by Camille Roskelley of Thimble Blossoms. This is the link for anyone who is interested:

Oh my garsh I love em both so much! Awesome fussy cut. Great job!

Jan, I love the fabrics and colors your chose! Such lovely flower print. And props to you for being able to sew and have a phone convo at the same time. I'll get there eventually :)
