Thanks sew much Erin and Kris for that great idea about finding graph paper on the net! I had not thought of that! You can find all sorts of 'stuff' on the Internet - if you look. Now I don't need to be so precious with my supply of inch graph paper!
Erin, sent you pm. ;-)

Hi all.....I do not know how to reply without your comment....slow....lol....computer is down so I am at the library now and of course the pics of my Jan blocks are in the computer so a longer delay but they are done and fabric is cut for February blocks but have a couple UFO's from Christmas to complete the FMQ on.
Hope everyone is well and I won't be quilting today because it is my appointment day!

beautiful block Erin. I am going to begin the 2 February blocks tonight and I am praying that things go a wee bit smoother than the January blocks. i am excited to see my finished quilt in 12 months when all the blocks are done. It is to be a quiltt for my guest room.
Lynn...the Love In A Mist block is a 12 inch block..no problems there. The nine patch heart block isn't a 12 inch block but Melody posted how to make it a 12 inch block and Carol posted directions to make it a four heart 12 inch block. Hope I didn't confuse you! :)
thank you Erin. I spent the afternoon cutting out the love in a mist block and then worked on my nantucket quilt. tonight i will cut out the 9 patch heart block. i think after a good dinner i will be ready to tackle it.
found carol's directions and the measurements are going to present a challenge to me but i will try.
have a nice evening.
Melody, Happy Valentine to you also

Lynn- LOVE LOVE LOVE your blocks! They are great.

thank you Erin. I hope I have enough fabric to continue the colour theme to the end of the quilt. I have another colour from the black that i can introduce if needed.
i can hardly wait to see what March brings.
Have a wonderful weekend and happy quilting.
