Thank you Bobbie Joe. the ladies at our quilting Bee think I should split it in two. do apredominately brown quilt and use the colorful blocks for a asecondary. I am really torn, it was supposed to be a quilt for my daughters bed. She is 22 and returning from oversear deployment in April. :( I wanted to surprise her with a work in progress, not a quandry.
Ok.... I'll keep an eye out for our third block for February and maybe that will balance everything back out?
Hi SoBuzy.... my husband is 66 and I am 46. He is a retired engineer and like things exact. I had to quit my job due to his strokes. Fortunately they only hit his short term memory. The doctors say the involvement in my quilting keeps that part of his mind active. We have good days and bad days, but when he sees blocks that are unfinished he gets agitated, hence the speed I need to get them sewn! ahhaaha
Everyone's blocks are so pretty. I forgot to check for Feb BOM so found myself 7 pages behind. Printed out the patterns and ready to go.
