Thanks Melody! The other night my boyfriend had to spend a good 10 minutes reassuring me that it's normal to suck at something at first bc that's a stepping stone to being sorta good at it. Made me laugh but it's true. I've only been quilting for less than 4 months .. part time.. and I'm super hard on myself. Deff that person who felt like the biggest failure if I got a B in a course in college. Awell haha

Ibuiltaquilt, I hear ya Sista! I'm the same way. It is a large task to allow myself to just be happy with what I've done, and taking note on what to do better the next time. A learning process. Your doing great for having done this for only 4 mo. Just enjoy!

Ibuiltaquilt,

That is definitely me.  Then I swung the opposite way and just "made it work".  That stopped me altogether.  This site and these women have helped me through A LOT. I do find that I rip a lot right now.  But I am finding great success and great enjoyment now.  Keep with us.  I learn a lot here.

I just joined BOM and can't seem to open the patterns in the "pages".  March's BOM is just a title and other months won't open at all.

Please help!

the info in pages is not linked to the blocks.  The URL listed takes you to the title of the block. No block info.

Ibuiltaquilt - love your blocks, that pink really makes them pop!  I haven't done this one yet but will have to try it.

Hi all, I just started with my BOM and finished Snowblossoms.  Bees and Fields will be my next.  I will PP the Bees sections but would like to strip cut the Fields part.  What width should I cut the C section before I cut them into triangles and how wide should I cut the four patch squares?  Thanks in advance.  Signed......Slowpoke!

beautiful job.  I love the shades of purple and you gave me a wonderful idea as I need a pink quilt an now I can se t will work.  well done and happy quilting..
