Erin, maybe someone here who's good at tutorials would be willing to show you how to PP.  It took me awhile to get my mind around the process.

Guys, I have asked for help from QCA to learn how to post tutorial links to the Pages section of this group. My computer skills are pretty much turn it on and off. Thanks for your patients. Melody MOKS

Leslie, I have checked out the tutorials in the PP group. Since I cannot  watch videos here at home and I cannot take my sewing machine to the library I am limited on options. I just need to pull out some scraps and start PP!  I am a hands on learner anyway, but it would be easier to just be able to watch a video and "sew along",

I think I am going to pull out the freezer paper and see what kind of damage I can do today..LOL

YAY! I just made a "Bee" using freezer paper and PPing! It is a little small (like Barbara said) but I am just happy that all the fabric is facing the right way! hahah  I am going to find some hearts or something easy to try and maybe make a valentines wall hanging or table topper. Who knows?  I will post pics later of whatever I make!

This is my first time doing this. I am not using the colors that the blocks asked for.

When I finish where and how do I post pictures?

Bobbie joe- Hello and welcome. You use whatever fabric you want.  The fabrics used are only to show how to create block.  Once you finish your block and want to post pictures you bring up the message box and in the bar above where you write is a symbol that looks like a filmstrip.  Click the filmstrip and attach your photos.

Good luck

"Now that I am understanding it I will start practicing everyday until i get good enough to make the Harry Potter quilt."   Come on Erin.  I just learned how to do the paper piecing too.  By the end of the year 2013, you and I will do at least a block from HP.
