Is the 9 inch big enough to be a potholder as someone previous suggested.

Melody and members, I just found this group by accident and like what I see.  I'd love to join in if you'll have me.  Don't have anything else to do.  :  )  LOL  I will go print out the directions to the blocks in case you'll have me.  I'm trouble so think about it for awhile.  :  )

Hi,

I am a new member as of tonight and I am really excited about making the blocks.  is it wise to select a group of fabrics and stick to a colour theme or motif theme or just do each month in whatever I like.  suggestionswould be appreciated.

Gonna be working on only 2 BOM's. This one and Craftsy. Then inbetween I will actually try FMQ, finishing a few other UFO's. :)

Hi Lynn, welcome.   You can do whatever you like.   The fabric, i am using I hope to a least get 6 blocks out of.   or alot of us are just going scrappy.

lunnkonkin, WELCOME! I still haven't made my mind up as to colors or scrappy. Originally I thought blue and yellow with green as accent because those colors can be used in every season. They just change with every season, light, dark, bright, and dull. But I think I'll just take it a month at a time. What were you thinking?

Hey Marie....I "ain't skeered!!!" lol  Welcome!

 

Can't remember who asked about sticking with the same fabrics, but I think that would be nice.. Just make sure you buy enough fabric. So many times I buy a couple yards of something, fall in love, go back and IT'S GONE!! :(   I am not sticking with the same fabrics but the same theme in my quilts. I am making one in Christmas fabrics and the other in patriotic.

Ugh, I need to go do dishes and get a shower...I wasted a whole day and I really don't feel bad about it..LOL
