Hello,

This is my very first on line club! I haven't sewn in about 20 years but am more than ready to start again! I have a brand new Baby Lock Symphony and have been taking classes to learn how to work w/her. So much fun. Looking forward to meeting y'all and creating together!

Thank you both Barbara and Francesxx. The bees and field block came out perfect but the other one is just 1/8 of an inch short. Gonna just try to do a skimpy seam when I put it together so I put a pin in it to mark it for later. (If I remember what the pin is for. lol)

I bought a new brother hc1850, My old kenmore is groaning and this was a good deal. It has lots of stitches I can play with. Sew guess what I am doing today. :) Gonna play with the new machine. (After I put away Christmas.)

 Waving a hello to all the new crafty people. My name is Deb and I am on here only once in awhile. But I am glad you are sewing with us/me. The ladys on here are very fun, helpful and inspiring.  I've only been with them a year but I am so happy I found this wonderful group.

WELCOME, to all who have joined the Quilting Bee. The two block patterns can be found on the first page. There are three blocks for Jan. Bees & Fields, http://www.quilterscache.com/B/BeesandFieldsBlock.html Snow Blossoms http://www.quilterscache.com/S/SnowblossomsBlock.html and Snow Churn http://www.quilterscache.com/S/SnowChurnBlock.html You can do all of the blocks or just one or two. It's up to you.

just asking since i am totally new to quilting can we do a i think its called log cabin... its all rectangles...  in a future month??

 

also my snow churn isnt working out quite right so i adjusted the pattern to making my hst with 3 inch squares instead...   will post pics soon as i figure out the larger sqaure, i have mastered the churn dash portion,  but i have a made a whole quilt of that... LOL
