EAT!! SLEEP !! QUILT!!
Hello everyone! Just found this group so decided to join. I love BOMs! I recognize many of you from the RR and other groups on QCA so I feel right at home.
I'm going to do 2 blocks (just printed the templates out) using fabric from my stash so it will be scrappy. Will see what I can accomplish today!
Patricia,
A very big welcome, glad you decided to come and join us.
Okay well the sun came out today (just imagine someone running around waving there rotary cutter in the air in celebration and thats me)
Well my fields bit of the block looks really good and im pleased however my bees look crap i did regular piecing, so this weekend i shall try PP and see if i can get my bees to look like bees otherwise it could be a fields block where all the bees have emigrated.
lots of love
Francesxx
Thanks Barbara, I am really glad that these blocks are so big, some of this fabric I am using I don't have very much of, When I bought it I had a pattern in mind for it, so just bought what I needed for it, then decided not to use that pattern, So I am hoping to get a least 6 12 in blocks out of it.
Hi Patrica, glad you joined us
Frances, PP, makes the bees much easier to do.
OKay, new to this so to make sure I understand - this is just a way to learn new blocks, techniques, etc RIGHT? so, I'm just making for myself but leaning with others online. Cool idea! I'm not committing because I'm doing the RR and getting my feet wet so don't over extend myself just yet. looking forward to seeing all the blocks.

Decided to give this a try but I can't seem to figure out where the patterns are. What am I missing?

Brendaln, welcome,
Go to the first page of this discussion and the very first message click on the names of the blocks and that takes you straight to the patterns, Enjoy.
Brenda, go to page one, the first post gives you 3 differnt blocks just click on them and it will take you to the pattern
Thanks ladies. I actually figured it out right after I posted.
Hello Patricia Faye! Since my regular piecing didn't turn out too well I am going to use this BOM to TRY and learn paper piecing! We will see..:)
Melody, will the patterns each month be a new thread and have them listed in the first post or will everything be on this particular thread? Sorry if I am confusing you, I know what I mean...hahah
Welcome all new BOM members. Hopefully one of you can help teach me paper piecing? :/
Happy New Year!
