Ok, here is my Bees and Fields in patriotic fabric.

I love it. That navy blue print is fabulous. Well done Erin.

I redrafted the blocks to make a smaller size but I have done any sewing yet. Probably won't be until the weekend.

I am going to have to figure something out with my blocks. Usually my first blocks of a pattern are wonky but my second one is almost always perfect. The ones I have posted are my first blocks and too wonky for me.  Maybe each month my first blocks will go into a box and make a huge quilt for the car one day. If it is used at the beach or at a picnic no one will care or notice that every block is wonky! I will name it, The Wonky Sampler car quilt...lol That would be a great way to use up a lot of practice and orphan blocks and I can enter it into an ugly quilt contest some day...hahaha

Mel yeah that sounds good to me.  and we pick two blocks .one easy and one more difficut  . just making sure. Barbara

Frances ,thank you . When I redo it I will have to use different fabric as I used all I had for this block that is to small .

Good Morning all! Today's "Make Up Your Mind Day" So I've made up my mind to sew. I have managed to spread bits of myself on three levels here at Mom's. So today I would like to get all my stuff in one spot to sew! My Sis is at work, Mom was awake all night and it's suppose to snow. SO Mom will sleep, and I can stay quiet by doing my favorite thing without getting in anyone's way. Yea! Kris, I just read the explanation on increasing and decreasing block sizes. Please always be here to answer that question again! You explain it so well, and math just ain't my thang. Happy Last Day of 2012! Melody

No sewing today,

Raining all day yet again which means crap light, hopefully we are supposed to get sun tommorrow, so sewing tommorrow everyone keep there fingers crossed for the sun or at least decent light.

Leslie, Erin is right. do all three or one. It's yours to do. I can tell you that the Bees & Field is a bit of a challenge but I think it is worth it.
