Erin,
What lovely sparkly fabric its going to be a stunning quilt.
Ive cut out my templates so later on today (im already on Monday and its 4am) i should put the first block together.
MelodyP MO/KS:Kris, no it will not be 3 each month. Just 2 and anyone can post blocks to be done if they wish. Just let me know so I won't.
Thanks Melody.
Erin:Ok, here is my Bees and Fields in patriotic fabric.
I love it. That navy blue print is fabulous. Well done Erin.
I redrafted the blocks to make a smaller size but I have done any sewing yet. Probably won't be until the weekend.
I am going to have to figure something out with my blocks. Usually my first blocks of a pattern are wonky but my second one is almost always perfect. The ones I have posted are my first blocks and too wonky for me. Maybe each month my first blocks will go into a box and make a huge quilt for the car one day. If it is used at the beach or at a picnic no one will care or notice that every block is wonky! I will name it, The Wonky Sampler car quilt...lol That would be a great way to use up a lot of practice and orphan blocks and I can enter it into an ugly quilt contest some day...hahaha
