I am making steady progress on my Spiral Burst Bargello pattern by Becky Botello. This is really a fun and clever bargello pattern. Definitely intermediate difficulty level but the result is worth the extra work. I was trying for an elegant art deco look, but instead the quilt wanted to be a Pillar of Flame. Okay by me. I have all the tricky work done. The strip set has been sliced, dissasembled, rotated, repressed so the seams all line up, and reassembled. Now I just have to sew the slices together and add the borders.
So much fun I'm thinking of doing it again in cool colors.
