FInallly completed the puzzle labeling on the bottom half of my bargello.  Doing Diamond Jubilee by Nancy Smith, an absolutely fabulous bargello!

I haven't worked on the bargello quilt yet, I'm going though my fabric to find 10 that will go good together. I  really like blue so that will be my theme. I think I have found 7 so far.

this has become pretty active lately. So what have I done.... well I have thought seriously about tying all the ends together and getting out my q hook and making a colorful mat. I dont know if I went over kill on first one or wrong pattern or what but seriously wondering if I will ever try one again

I'm super excited. I just completed picking my fabric for the fabric strata on my next bargello. It will be Becky Botellos' Desert Wind pattern. This will be my first monotone bargello, it is being done all in shades of green.  This will also be my first bargello done with 3" strips. If it turns out as planned, it will be called Wind in the Willows. The fabric just leaped off the shelf at me. That is usually a good sign.

I finished the Wind in the Willows bargello piecing today. Becky Botellos patterns really work for me. I loved the three inch strip size. Plenty of room to ease in the seam matches. I finished a 72" x 96" bargello in 40 hours. I think maybe I am getting the hang of this.

I had so much fun I am going to do this pattern again. I am going to try red, white and blue Americana and patriotic fabrics. That should be different.
