Hi everyone,

i joined is group a while back because I knew I wanted to tackle a Bargello sometime soon but have never gotten around to it. Now that the group is up and running again I I hope to get some good tips and inspiration.

Hello Anne:  Welcome to the Bargello group.  Once we get more people in here that are interested in Bargello quilting, then there will be people that will share their tips.  Stick with us and please be patient.

Yes, I'm new to Bargello.  I've always admired them, never done one.  They look very complex.

I love the ones with the most movement in them.  I guess more colors is better but I have no idea

where to start.  Is it better to use Batiks for Bargellos?

Hello Quilter 222;  they are not complex at all.  If you know how to sew strips together, then you can do it.  I did my first one at Quilt University that is online.  It taught me a lot.  Check it out.

Wendy123, this is a open group where anyone can join.  You are welcomed to join us.  I started out at the quilt university online.  You might want to check it out.
