this block was pretty easy, because i cheated. : ) instead of making stripes, i used three fabrics for the basket. i probably saved a few hours of stitching by doing it this way. i needed more black and white for balance and these worked great for a basket.

I made this quilt in anticipation of having a grand daughter someday. Well I don't have a grand daughter, but I do have this adorable quilt. It's one of my favorite patterns. I got this pattern years ago from the Keepsake quilting website.
