Hello Gini
Thank you so much for the welcome to the group.
Hopefully soon I will become an active participant but as of yet I am very new to both applique and groups for that matter. Looking forward to getting more involved in both.
Myrna
we will be starting a new project in the spring, hopefully you will join us then. what kind of quilts do you like to make?
Gini
It has taken me several hours of pondering (the brain definitely moves slower nowadays!) to answer you question regarding what (type of) quilts I like to make.
I feel rather like a kitten experiencing her first autumn. A dried leaf blows by and she is off and running until another one intersects her path and launches an equally energetic romp in the opposite direction
It has been thirty five years since I made my last quilt. How things have changed !!! Most notable of those changes is the instant availability of information about construction and marvellous products to make most anything possible. Over the last year I have dabbled with many types of quilts but more often than not if find myself drawn back from my mad romp to appliqued quilts.
I feel that this approach has the most potential to express my wonderment with the world around me.
btw brevity isn't one of my virtues (you may have noticed)
and how the quilting world has changed in the past few years.
hello, herlinda and welcome to the applique group
