FANTASY FLOWERS - BLOCK 1 - POSY

Here's my may block, posy.   I don't have the bee with me.  I'll attach it when I get home.

My blocks are getting brighter, I may need to replace some colors on the first block if it looks too drab when I get the others done.

Gini, I'm working on my posey block and find it interesting that we both picked bright bold colors for our quilt. The original that Star and I saw at the Paducah Quilt Festival was a very soft pastel. The gal at the booth said those fabrics had not been available for many years. I like bright and bold better. It fits my personality and style. Since I'm going to start keeping my work and decorating my house with quilts and wall hangings that I make, I thought I'd do what I like. Hahaha! Love your block!!!

Maggie,  my favorite colors are red and orange,  add a bit of glitter to them and I'm a goner.

Gini is a glitz and bling gal!  Me to. Hahaha

Here is my Block 1 - Posy.   I may outline the vase since it appears to fade into the background.  What do you think?

Love the flowers but the vase seems to fade into the background. So maybe a darker outline otherwise looks great.

Patricia Faye, I love your block.  Instead of outlining, why don't you pick up some fabric paints and try some shading?   Crayons might be worth a try, too, because they come in so many colors.
