Here is my block for April:
The heart flower was a bit of a challenge since the outer border is tiny scallops. I didn't think the flower on the bottom of the flower pot was necessary because of the fabric I used so I omitted it. It was also so tiny!
The house detail are larger scallops. I'm getting better, but haven't really mastered it yet.
I'm also improving on the house embroidery.
I used a heart button for the door knob too.
I'm happy with it!
How pretty I love it.
Very cute Patricia. I like the heart buttons.
you should be very happy with this block. it is cute as can be.

Patricia Faye this is a cute block! It sings Love Love Love!
Very cute Patricia Faye. I just finished mine. Let's see if I can post it.
Instead of the small scallops around the flower, I had a perfect leftover piece of lace in the perfect shade in my scrap basket, so I used that and put the french knots on the heart instead. I like how it turned out.
Janet, great idea with the lace. Your block is adorable.
Very nice, Janet. The lace is a great touch.
This is a beautiful block, Janet!
Patricia, and Janet, love both your blocks
Very pretty block Janet. The lace and the buttons are nice touches.
Thank you everyone! On to Block 3!
Janet, very cute block! I love red so it really appeals to me. I also love the little extras Locke lace and French knots. ;-)

Patricia, your block pops. Very cute. I think you did a great job on your scallops and I'm loving your roof material. I've got to get moving on my blocks. All of you are inspiring me to hurry up. LOL
