Annie:
Here are my first 4 blocks.  All I need to do is that little yellow thingy in the center of the flowers.

Very pretty. Nice background here as well.

BEAUTIFUL Blocks, Annie! I hope to get back to mine soon. Every time I think I'm going to get to, somebody throws an "urgent" task at me. ARGHHHH!

Great job on your blocks Annie. It looks like you got the embroidery part figured out too!

I've made the blue flower but I think I buried it somewhere in my sewing room, I'm waiting for it to resurface so I can take a photo of it!

Jacy,

Thanks, and Im still learning about what to do with the embroidery part.  I used 2 stands of floss and think it's too thick.  Not sure if they come indifferent thicknesses, but I'll try using one strand to see if I like it better.

Ummmm, Annie - you do realize that most floss is 6 strand (6 threads)? So, when you use it, you separate out those threads. IE: 3 strands are called for so you split the 6 strands up so that you're only working with 3. I think the rule of thumb is that you cut off about an 18" long piece and split the threads up after you've cut it.

Pearl cotton comes in different thicknesses. The bigger numbers are thinner.

As Sheila stated, regular floss has six strands that can be separated.

I really like everyone's work.  This is quite inspiring for a quilter who loves gardening.

I need help can someone direct me to the patterns for this group?  How do I order or download?
