Gini, I'm pretty computer literate, but for some reason I haven't figured out how to do them on my MacBook Pro yet!

I was able to download both pattens using Adobe Acrobat...you do have to join to be able to print them (I think).  I had no problems printing the Holly one but I was only able to get the templates to print on the Apples & Pears but not the instructions.  Last night I sent an email to their Help website to let them know so if it is on their end they can fix it or tell me what I'm doing wrong.  No word back yet.   Will let everyone know what I find out.

So I haven't heard back from Free-Quilting.com, but I was able to print the Apples & Pears pattern by changing the Advanced Print Settings to " Print as an Image".  I guess that is a work around on a "secured" downloaded pattern.

Sounds like we will have a few joining in for the Fall Project.  The more the merrier!

I'm gathering the fabrics I'll be using (I'll be doing both of these) & will check back once I've got them together.

I finished appliquéing block 3 of Fantasy Flowers and still dislike my workmanship with needle turn. Embroidery should help it some but not enough to be included in the quilt. Maybe a pillow. Hahaha. I will be returning to my original method although I am searching for a really good tutorial on back stitch appliqué. I thought I could give that a try. If I remember correctly, Gini has been using this method and she does beautiful work. Right now I need to concentrate on Halloween costumes for a 4 yr. old and 5 yr. old. Then finish a border for RR. Those are my weekend projects. 😉

I don't do back basting, I do simple needle turn.   I will have to try it sometime so I can add it to my repertoire

Oops, maybe you mentioned it before. If you run across a good video let me know. I would really like to do something other than starch method. I'm trying to find a quicker method.

France's, where did you obtain your Hawaiian twelve days of Christmas pattern? I would love to do that one.

What was the method you use for large pieces?  I thought you basted and then did needle turn, removing the basting as you go?  I'll have to look for that post form early 2013.
