now that i have found my block, i've lost the book. i told sam, i'm never cleaning house again. grrrr.
LOL Gini. I know what you mean.
sam is relieved, i found the book at the studio, so the house cleaning will continue for now. he was actually threatening to come on here and beg everyone to tell me, not to stop cleaning.
That's too funny Gini.
All you ladies do beautiful work

thanks leslie.
i've been looking over all the blocks we've done. we've accomplished quite a bit so far, and you all are doing a wonderful job
I just got my book.
Trying to decide which block to start on first. The block you are working on, or did you do easier ones first?
Jacy,
Gini started us off with the easiest block then went from there. So if you want easy start with block one.
jacy, i woudl start with the first block here. it is the easiest in the book.
except fpr a few hard ones, most of the others are about the same difficulty.
then there is the block i am making for november. we are gong to be real proficient at teeny circles after this bock. and, while i was sitting with my aunt at the hospital, i set my sewing on the ledge to get up and help her. down, down ,down into the vent, fluttered my little pieces, dang. why would you have a vent on the top of a ledge where it is natural to set things? i'm surprised the hospital hasn't burnt down. i had to cut out a bunch more pieces today. it is going to be very cute, but i will be tired of ohs by then.
Oh boy Gini. I haven't looked at that one yet. I think I better get started. I might need the entire month for this one.
I am only going to be making 12 of the blocks for my quilt. Will be skipping the next 4 blocks and doing the last 4. Just like the looks of the last four. Don't know if will wait until you get to them or go ahead and still make a block per month. Would like to get it finished before our move to Virginia in June. Pretty well settled in our apartment now (sold our house after being on the market for 1 week). Have 1 room set up for sewing now if I could just find where everything that I need is packed.
Congratulations on getting your house sold Kathie. Good luck with the move.
You could go ahead and make your blocks then post them in media or wait until they are assigned.
kathie, it sounds like your house selling went very smoothly. good job.
you can do the blocks in any order you want. i agree that the last four blocks are very interesting. i have two of them cut out. i'll see how far i can get on the first one this month and work along with you.
this month's block is harder, but the next two will be fairly easy. i have them cut out and ready to go. it was a delaying tactic. after i cut out ll the circles for this month's block i needed something easy to think about while i worked on it.
ok, then, i'm about to start on the circles. there are about 30 of the little treasures.
