yes, of course you can join in, the more the merrier. we are making baltimore's country cousin. it's a book out by mckelvey. we are only starting on the fifth block and they have been pretty easy so far. if you join the american quilters society, i believe you can still get the book pretty cheap. http://www.americanquilter.com/books_supplies/item_detail.php?id=8109, most other sources are sold out or they are very expensive gini
