sheila,  i think we all did 12 inch blocks.  if kris's blocks are 12 inches then it is a little bigger than 40 inches, is my guess, on the sides

Kris, this is such a creative layout.  Outstanding colors!  It's going to be stunning when it is done.  How big will the finished quilt be?

I measured. It's 36 inches square right now. I hope to have it all together by next week.

AHhhhh! I see now. The photo made it look as though it was only about 12 inches big in total! If that was so, I'd have been bowing down before the almighty applique queen! ROFL! You just don't know how much better I feel.

did you post this in forums on "did you work on a quilt"?    i hope you do.       you should be very proud of this quilt.
