gini: hi kelli, i have recommended to new appliquers, that you might want to enlarge this pattern. if you are comfortable with how you're doing, go ahead and try it in the six inch size. there are ways to make the patterns easier, that don't matter a bit to the finished blocks. so after you get your pattern out and look at it, let me know what you're thinking. just about the pattern, i don't need to know everything you're thinking. not that i don't want to know what you're thinking, mind you, but that might be a bit TMI. : ) unfortunately for all of you, i share a bit too much.

I am hoping to get the pattern today or maybe tomorrow. I'm not good with waiting, not that I have a choice. LOL I have been practicing on some simple applique patterns that I have. I will let you know what I think as soon as I have the pattern in hand. :-)
I will try not to give TMI that might be difficult for me. LOL
Ok I got my pattern in and I think I'm going to try the 6 inch blocks ... We'll see how that goes lol I just want to start with the easier blocks first. I'm thinking maybe the red trillium. Any thoughts?
the red trillium is one of the easier ones.

Hi I am Janet, and I joined the group during the summer. I have been looking at all the beautiful work everybody is producing. I took the plunge and bought the wildflower patterns. They should be here in a couple of days when I get back from a wedding. I need something small to work on between calls at work. My mother and grandmother both did beautiful applique. Hopefully with all the wonderful ideas from the ladies in this group I will find this type of quilting fun. I have lots of time to practice.
