You're welcome Gini.
No magic to it at all. Just copy the URL (web address) then highlight the words in your post that you want to link. Then click the chain link (to the left of the film strip) and paste your URL there. Easy as pie.
Thanks, I got all the first 10 patterns saved to my pc. I have my work cut out for me don't I if I want to get this done by Christmas 2010! Maybe next year.
Hi again, I have been so busy lately and I don't remember if I wrote back to you to thank you for your help, so if I didn't I want to thank you, I did get all caught up with the blocks, starting on the first one today. Thanks again

Hello, I'm new to applique but love hand sewing so I'm hoping this will be fun more than frustrating. ; )
peggy, this is an easy pattern and shouldn[t frustrate you too much we'll be here to help gini
Here is my 1st block. I have been doing all of mine on the sewing mach. i have 11 blocks done so far. Have been have computer problems tho.
Marilyn from Iowa
Very cute Marilyn. I like the red bird.
Love it Marilyn.
very nice marilyn.
Thank you Kris, Leslie, and Gini. These have been fun blocks to do. Just finding the right fabric adds a lot to the blocks.
After I took this photo I realised that I forgot the bird's beak and feet. Will add them later. I've already left the sewing room. Everything was done by machine except for the eyes and mouth. Those are french knots. The thread is the same colour as the background fabric and at this moment I'm not sure I like the look. However, there will not be a do-over.
