There's a class on texture at craftsy has some great idea's . Starts from the outside working to the center twisting fabric and sew it down go slow or you'll break the needle.

Bigburt, I missed this block when surfing through completed blocks. This is great!  I love the fact you made it your own. You have a wonderful creative streak. Very inspiring. I love the fact you are doing QAYG too. I love that method.

Robin, very cute block 2. Bonita, I believe that is little lace on the house but my enlargement isn't clear. The creativity is starting to show on all the blocks. ;-)

Thanks ladies for the positive comments.   The house trim is actually fabric that's cut by the curvy piece that goes in that spot.   I'm still struggling with that part.
